How Our Website Process Works (Start to Finish)

We make it easy to get your own professional Ghost site — whether you're launching a blog, newsletter, or full website. Here's how everything works, from consultation to hosting, so you know exactly what to expect.

🟢 Step 1: Free Consultation

This is a no-pressure call where we show you a working Ghost site — our own company website. You'll see what Ghost looks like for both visitors and writers, and we'll walk you through how easy it is to create posts, manage pages, and customize content.

We’ll also show you examples of custom pages and answer any questions you have. If Ghost feels like the right fit for you, we move forward.

🟡 Step 2: Project Planning

In our next meeting, you’ll outline your website’s requirements. This includes:

• Which pages you want (Home, About, Contact, etc.)
• Your logo, favicon, banner images (if the theme includes one)
• Social media profiles to link (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
• Whether you'd like us to manage your domain

🔹 Client Responsibility: You’ll provide all media and text for your site, including logos, copy, and any images you'd like included.

🔹 Domain Management: We can purchase and manage your domain at no extra cost — or, if you already own one, we’ll guide you on setting up A or CNAME records to point it to our server.

💳 Step 3: Choose a Payment Plan

You’ll pick between two plans, depending on how you’d like to work:

🧱 Blueprint Plan (Fixed)

• You submit a detailed requirements document.
• We give you a quote based on your project scope.
• Any change outside the original scope requires a brand-new agreement.

Best for clients who already have a clear, unchanging vision for their website.

🌊 Waterfall Plan (Weekly)

• You pay an upfront fee that includes the first week of development, the theme, and (if needed) the domain.
• You’ll be billed weekly for as long as work continues.
• Every week, we meet the day before your billing date to review progress and gather feedback.
• If you're satisfied, we cancel the subscription — if not, we keep building.

This plan offers flexibility and is ideal for clients who want to adjust and iterate as we go.

📦 Step 4: Development + Feedback

Once we receive your content and requirements, we begin building your site.

• Blueprint Plan: Work is done according to the original plan with periodic updates.
• Waterfall Plan: You’ll get weekly progress updates and can make adjustments along the way.

Each Waterfall week includes:

• Development time
• One review meeting before the next billing cycle
• The ability to stop any time once you're satisfied

🎓 Step 5: Training & Launch

When your site is finished, we’ll schedule a one-on-one training session to walk you through how to use Ghost. It’s intuitive and easy — we’ll make sure you’re confident managing your new site.

☁️ Step 6: Hosting & Ongoing Support

After the training session, we launch your site and start your monthly $50 hosting plan. This includes:

• Reliable hosting
• SSL & security updates
• Backups
• Ongoing domain management (if we manage your domain)

Hosting begins only after the final training session and approval of your site.

❌ Refund Policy

Because of the time and work involved in building each custom site, we do not offer refunds for any payments made. If you have concerns at any point, we encourage open communication so we can keep everything on track.
